Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 October 2026
In short: you get a licence to use the Postnest app on your computer. Your content is yours and you are responsible for what you publish. Postnest publishes only through official APIs or lets you publish yourself. Social networks can change their rules, and your computer must be on (or able to wake) for posts to go out.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Postnest ("Postnest", "we"), whose company details will be published here before the public launch, for the Postnest desktop app, the website and the related services. By installing or using Postnest you accept them. Contact: hello@postnest.amz.ee.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Postnest on your devices, within the limits of your plan (for example the number of profiles). You may not resell, sublicense, or bypass the licence checks, and you may not reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it.
3. Trial, plans and payment
- Every plan starts with a 15-day free trial. No card is required to start.
- Creator ($1.50 per month or $12 per year) and Agency ($20 per month) renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Founder ($50 once, first 500 buyers) gives the Creator features with up to 5 profiles for the lifetime of the product, with all updates. If we ever stop the product, the last version keeps working on your computer, because it runs locally.
- Payments are handled by a Merchant of Record, named at checkout, which is the seller of record and applies its own payment terms and taxes.
- Refunds: if you are not satisfied, write to us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it. This does not limit any right you have under consumer law.
- We may change prices for future periods with at least 30 days' notice. Changes never affect the Founder price you already paid.
4. The Founder promotional post
With the Founder plan, the first post of each new profile is a short announcement of Postnest, clearly identified as such. You see it in the calendar before it is published.
5. Your accounts and your content
- Your content belongs to you. We do not receive it and claim no rights over it.
- When you connect a network, you authorise Postnest to act on your behalf only to publish the posts you schedule and to upload the media you attach.
- You are responsible for what you publish and for respecting the law and each network's rules, including the rights of others over images, music and trademarks.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use Postnest to send spam, mass unsolicited messages or illegal content, to impersonate others, or to circumvent a network's limits or anti-abuse systems.
7. Social networks and third-party services
Postnest is not affiliated with or endorsed by the social networks it supports. They can change or withdraw their APIs at any time. A network may then move from "Automatic" to "1 tap" or stop being available. We label each network honestly, but we cannot guarantee the availability of third-party services.
8. How local publishing works
Postnest publishes from your computer. For a post to go out on time your computer must be switched on or able to wake from sleep, connected to the internet, and the app must be running. If it is off, the post goes out when the app starts again. Keeping backups of your data is your responsibility.
9. Updates and changes
We improve Postnest over time and may add, change or remove features. We will not remove core features covered by your paid plan without telling you in advance.
10. Warranty and liability
Postnest is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that it will be error-free or that every post will be published on time. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost followers. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, nor affects your mandatory rights as a consumer.
11. Termination
You can stop using Postnest and cancel at any time. We may suspend a licence that seriously breaches these terms, after telling you why where possible.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the operating company is registered, which will be stated here before the public launch. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and can bring claims there.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell licence holders at least 30 days in advance.
